Want to feel more powerful when walking into a meeting at work? There's even a scent that promises to help you have more sex, aptly named "More Sex." Charlotte herself was raised between London and Ibiza so a lot of her makeup products reflect that, including her iconic cream and contour Beach Sticks.
What to Consider Before Trying the Charlotte Tilbury Fragrance Collection of Emotions
I don't have a 10-step regimen, I rarely use fancy tools, and I only occasionally use a face mask. Charlotte Tilbury's new Cryo-Recovery Mask has well and truly won me over. Caroline Hirons, a skincare expert, has set up an app, Skin Rocks, which enables users to search from hundreds of cleansers, masks, serums and SPFs, sorting by price.

In particular the Beach Stick in Ibiza shade was inspired the ethereal light of the island itself. Simply put it in the freezer for a minimum of 30 minutes, secure to your face using the velcro straps, and feel the instant cooling effects. The mask is made from silicone so it is extremely comfortable to wear and wash, which is super important. I applied a hydrating serum prior to putting on the mask to make my skin feel ultra moisturized and glowy; perfect for the days when I want to add an extra-special step before doing my makeup. Skincare and beauty lovers share video content of their favourite products and earn “coins” that can be put towards beauty items. You can also buy Agora “Edit” boxes with discounts of up to 85% on beauty items inside.

You may also be able to find products around your home that can become part of your routine. For instance, Superdrug’s Me+, Naturally Radiant, Vitamin E and B. Skincare ranges are a fraction of the cost of many high-end options – a 200ml bottle of toner in the Me+ range is now £8.99 and available on a “buy one, get second half-price” offer to loyalty card holders.
It compares similar products to see if the budget versions are worth buying. For example, if you like Elemis Pro Collagen Cleansing Balm, it says you may want to try the M&S Pure Rose Cleansing Balm. If there’s an expensive product that you love, try searching for it at a cheaper price on resale sites such as eBay and Vinted.

Head this way for the best jade rollers, over here for the best gua-sha and in this direction for our review of the best LED face masks. Known for her ability to transform dull, tired complexions into glowing, plump ones with her backstage tricks, the new Cryo-Recovery Mask, £49, delivers Charlotte’s signature Tilbury skin at home... But what if we told you there’s been a new innovation that only amplifies the already impressive results of cryotherapy?
A dupe is a cheaper option that is very similar to a typically high-end product. You can search for the cheapest dupe of your favourite products that influencers are recommending on social media, too. For example, Aldi’s Lacura range offers budget-friendly luxury skincare products and is well rated by users. The products are only available in Aldi stores and the next health and beauty “special buys” promotion is due to start on 5 May. That’s right, there’s a new breakthrough on the cards and it comes from none other than the mother of supermodel skin herself, Charlotte Tilbury. When it comes to cryo, I have to be careful because I have rosacea, so I tried the mask with caution. It didn't flare my rosacea but I did find the gel patches under the eyes were a little big and covered my cheeks more than I'd like; a place where my rosacea tends to be its worst. Despite this, the mask didn't aggravate my rosacea one bit, instead my skin felt soothed and refreshed. Boots and Superdrug also have their own inexpensive skincare lines and frequently run promotions and deals. Renee Rodriguez is a staff writer and social producer for PS.
Get more mileage out of your skincare products by using them for multiple purposes. For example, you don’t need a separate neck cream – you could use your face moisturiser on your neck and décolletage. Similarly, you may choose to skip a dedicated eye cream, and gently apply your face serum around the delicate eye area. To start, the new fragrance line, called Charlotte's Fragrance Collection of Emotions, wasn't just about beauty — it was science.
Many skincare brands have embraced sustainability by offering refills. For example, Neal’s Yard and Charlotte Tilbury have refillable options available across their ranges. At Charlotte Tilbury a 50ml jar of Magic Cream moisturiser costs £79, while a refill the same size is £69. There are plenty of ways to reduce the cost of your skincare routine – from everyday moisturisers to potent serums.
Sheet masks are one of the worst offenders when it comes to single-use waste in the beauty industry, so in my eyes, reuseable is always a winner if you can and want to invest. Charlotte Tilbury, a trailblazer in the beauty industry with a career spanning over 26 years, is the expert when it comes to beauty. Discover the secrets to getting Red Carpet Ready with our makeup artists’ exclusive tips and trick. And find your perfect skin solutions at Charlotte’s Magic Skin Clinic – from hydrating and soothing, to brightening and smoothing. Despite living and breathing beauty, I'm pretty lazy when it comes to trying new things in my skin-care routine.
The Cryo-Recovery Mask also features five acupressure points (an ancient Chinese medicine practice) in the form of five cooling metal beads across the forehead that aim to relieve tension. Compare prices across different retailers and brands before making any skincare purchase. Sites such as Cosmetify make it easy to find the best deals on the products you love, ensuring you never overpay. You can also set up alerts on your favourite products so that you are notified when their prices fall.
While it was fun testing all of these fragrances, I didn't particularly notice any big emotional changes while wearing them. I even tried wearing More Sex and Love combined when hanging out with a romantic partner, but it didn't seem to do much on his end. However, I do love the fragrances individually and plan on wearing them strictly because they make my nose happy.

Cabins boast decent storage options, including couches with inset drawers, bedside tables with shelves, and closets. There are two 120-volt U.S.-style outlets and one Euro-style 230-volt outlet atop a small vanity in each cabin, under which you'll find an ottoman-style seat. Weirdly stationed at one end of the huge, open space that is now the Ocean Plaza, Alchemy Bar doesn't work on a couple of levels. The first and most important reason is that it's not its own room; it's just a space, and it has to compete -- unsuccessfully -- with the live bands in the center of the room. The only cool thing about it is its backlit menus (which would be a whole lot cooler in a darker room). On the plus side, the Havana Bar is a really well-thought-out space that incorporates the two new specialty restaurants on either side, as well as the main bar itself.
Carnival Sunshine Cabins
Their default setting seems to be seating people in groups, but unless it’s ridiculously crowded, they’ll usually be able to accommodate your request. Additionally, I’ve observed that some of the most cordial bartenders work in this area, possibly due to the high volume of passengers that pass through here eventually. There are times when we want to socialize with the crowd by the pool and when we want to read a book or admire the ocean. With that in mind, here are some tips, tricks, and pointers that may serve as your cruise guide on this distinctive Carnival ship.
What I didn't love about Carnival Sunshine
Crew members will come around offering blankets and free popcorn, which makes this evening beneath the stars a great opportunity to snuggle with the one you love. From one of the hot tubs, several of which are located in prime viewing spots. Many Carnival ships, including the ones with the Limelight Lounge theater setup, have poles that may obstruct your view during shows. To secure the best seats, you will need to arrive early and queue up outside the theater. Traditionally, fewer decide to have dinner in the steakhouse on the first night than any other night of a trip. For some people, it’s because they worry their luggage might not arrive in time.
How much does it cost to go on Carnival Sunshine?
Energetic cruisers who can't veg in the sun all day can find limitless activities indoors to occupy their sea days. Free events included trivia games, Bingo, spa pampering parties, karaoke, and ice carving or towel animal folding demonstrations. For-fee activities like Build-A-Bear Workshop and $5,000 Jackpot Bingo also drew a crowd. Poolside RedFrog Rum Bar and BlueIguana Tequila Bar were both a hub of activity most days.
Carnival Sunshine itineraries and pricing
The designated areas for each age group were spacious and offered plenty of seating. Though they had separate entrances, the spaces were close enough that pick-up and drop-off would be easy for families with kids checked into different areas. The Sunshine Casino on Deck 5 midship was popular with passengers on my sailing. Every time I walked through, it was buzzing with activity (although, as previously mentioned, I didn't spend a lot of time there). The venue is a maze of slot machines, with a collection of poker tables, a craps table, two roulette tables and several blackjack tables.

Similarly, since rough seas canceled the tech rehearsal, the "Epic Rock" production on the second night became an "unplugged" version with performers singing from stools on stage. While not ideal, it was another example of the flexibility and upbeat attitude of Carnival staff. Even without a full-on performance, the quality of vocal talent was undeniable.
They're designed with marble-topped surfaces, full bathrooms with double-width shower-whirlpool tub combos, bidets, double sinks, marble flooring and mosaic tiles on the walls. Carnival Sunshine's cabin choices offer many configurations, with some capable of fitting two guests, while others can accommodate up to five people through various uses of sofa beds and ceiling pull-downs. The pulldown beds do have a weight restriction of 250 pounds. Also, for cruisers traveling together, Carnival Sunshine offers more than 200 connecting rooms, which sometimes permits sound through the connecting doors. The ship's library, which doubles as the Library Bar, has a small selection of bestsellers and travel books, as well as a good selection of Hasbro-branded games (e.g. Monopoly and Battleship).
We closed out our dinner with the rose creme brulee with ginger cream and caramelized crepes served with citrus ice cream. At nearly 103,000 tons, Sunshine Class ships are more than 40% smaller than Carnival's newest ships, such as Carnival Celebration. That said, Carnival Sunshine still offers a solid list of onboard diversions, from a multi-slide water park to a theater showing original musical productions. The 102,853-ton Carnival Sunshine is 12 decks high and carries 3,002 passengers at double occupancy in 1,501 cabins. On my second sailing on Sunshine, a four-night Bahamas cruise out of Charleston, I found myself surrounded by a diverse group, though most passengers hailed from South Carolina. My shipmates included lots of families, couples traveling together and multigenerational reunion groups.
Day 5: Fun Day at Sea
However, when Carnival Destiny was rebranded as Carnival Sunshine in 2013, it took over as the lead ship for the new Sunshine class. Sister ships include similarly refurbished and renamed ships, the current Carnival Radiance and Carnival Sunrise. If your idea of a good time is working up a sweat and an appetite, then you’ll want to go to the fitness center, with its multiple classes and great array of workout gear. Afterward, stop into the Cloud 9 Spa, for a full range of treatments and beauty offerings.
But it’s a fantastic spot to enjoy your lunch during the day. Cruise Critic is not a booking agent and does not charge any service fees to users of our site. Rates are in USD and valid for US and Canadian residents only.
In place of a traditional shorter coffee table, there was a taller wooden table that could double as a makeshift working desk. The wear and tear was also noticeable inside the room, including a few wall dings and a couple of nicks in the wood furnishings. Also, one of the hangers seemed to have been repaired with duct tape. Perhaps the most moving example of staff personalizing an experience for guests was during the military appreciation event, which is held every Carnival sailing and hosted by the cruise director. Traditionally, a recording of "Taps" is played during a moment of silence. Our cruise director, James, is also a trumpet player, so he plays "Taps" live for the ceremony.
Great choices like BBQ, a deli counter, salad bar, an Asian station and a pasta bar... Plus one spot where the chef serves up a different surprise daily! At Lido Marketplace, there’s tons of indoor and outdoor seating made for gathering around, so you can enjoy your personal faves in your favorite company for lunch or dinner, or even breakfast!
Coast Guard, the boat will remain dockside and still provide the full dining service. Smoking is allowed on the outside decks, but please note that cannabis products are prohibited as the cruise operates under the authority of the U.S. Please dispose of all trash in proper receptacles and refrain from throwing anything into the water. The U.S. Coast Guard requires all passengers over 18 years old to have valid photo identification.
